The Coke Side of Life.©


Does Coke's new tag line do it for you? Ambivalence is how "The Coke Side of Life" strikes me. I used to be excited when I read or heard "The Real Thing". But, with so many different Coca-Cola Company carbonated and non-carbonated brands, I'm a bit unsure as to what defines the Coke side of life. Is the Coke side of life based on the Bright and Early Orange Drink? Or, on Coke Classic? Or, Barq's root beer, or Coke Zero, or Diet Coke, or Dannon water, or DaSani water, or Vanilla or Lime Coke? So, which 'side' am I to gravitate towards?

Seeing that I consider Coke to be the finest soft drink ever invented, I've taken the liberty to assume the role as Supreme Ruler of the Coca-Cola Company and decided to create some tag lines and slogans on my own. These are the 'bangers' that would be found at the bottom of Coke's print advertising. These are not intended to let you, the consumer, get away with just a soft reminder about the Coke product lines. Nope! Just the opposite. My tag lines are meant to stop the customer and cause him or her to consider the power behind the logo: the Power of Coke!

Normally, a table of thumbnails would next follow, and you would click to see a large-sized presentation of the graphic. In this case, however, that would take away some of the full-impact surprise, so I've opted for type links instead.

There you have it – my five minutes of basking in Coke's glory, providing tag lines with gravitas, substance and a ring of solidarity with we people on the streets. Yeah! Cool, Dude!
