DONMAC ideas! criteria in classifying commercial printing is nothing extraordinary to graphic arts industry professionals.

We expect printers to be able to work with industry-standard graphics and desktop publishing files. We expect printers to communicate with us in the event of any problems. We expect the finest pre-press work and separations, and we expect attentive press personnel to be looking out for our client's welfare.

When a job is delivered, we do not expect to find insipid halftones, an uneven run-of-press ink lay; hickies, paper slitter and powder dust is unacceptable. We do not want to see out-of-register separations and bad ink impressions, bad traps or inadequate bleeds. We do not desire to see uneven trims, rough-edged, off-register die cuts or bad binding. We do not expect to have a job delivered late to our clients. The printers we work with do not deliver a finished product with these problems. Period!
