Hand-in-hand with the web goes e-mail. The marketing research figures are there to prove it: e-mail advertising is always to be considered as part of any effective marketing program.

Despite the fact that many e-mail messages showing up in all our "Inboxes" are SPAM, nevertheless, attractive e-mail solicitations are legitimate offers for which we are glad to receive. Such as, a '25%-off coupon from Amazon.com', or '10%-off your next ink cartridge purchase from Print-Pal.' Or, "Did you forget to send flowers for Mothersday? It's not too late! Here's a 35%-off coupon good until 12 midnight!" Anyway one looks at it, e-mail is powerful marketing communications.
